Chair Lift
The chair lift offers you a ride up and down the slope. There is a fantastic view over the river Gauja and its valley in length of several kilometers while descending.
There is a beach in bottom of the slope and the chair lift connects the centre of Sigulda with the river Gauja.
Access to the chair lift top station is at the Holiday Square, the bottom station is near the beach of the river (500m from the bridge of the river Gauja)
This is the first chair ski lift in the Baltics.
The ski lift was opened in February 2007.
Manufactured and designed in Austria, installed under the guidance of an Austrian chair lift enterprise

- Ride duration in one direction:
- In summer: 5 min
- In winter: 3 min
- Maximum height above the ground: 15m
A sliding platform eases the access to the chair lift during skiing season.
